Overview

Badges are achievement markers that recognize specific milestones. KidMoat has over 35 badges across 9 categories. Each badge awards bonus coins when earned, and badges are displayed on the child's profile.

Screen Time (5 badges)

• Time Keeper (Common, 3 coins): Stay under daily limit for 7 days
• Screen Sage (Rare, 10 coins): Stay under daily limit for 30 days
• Digital Monk (Epic, 15 coins): Stay under 50% of limit for 7 days
• Time Master (Legendary, 25 coins): Stay under daily limit for 100 days
• Early Bird (Rare, 8 coins): Stop using device 30 min before bedtime for 7 days

Bedtime (4 badges)

• Dream Guardian (Common, 3 coins): Perfect bedtime compliance for 7 nights
• Night Owl (Rare, 10 coins): Perfect bedtime compliance for 30 nights
• Sleep Champion (Legendary, 25 coins): Perfect bedtime compliance for 100 nights
• Wind Down Pro (Rare, 8 coins): Reduce usage before bedtime for 14 days

Mode Compliance (4 badges)

• Mode Rookie (Common, 3 coins): Complete 5 mode sessions
• Focus Master (Rare, 10 coins): Complete 25 mode sessions
• Discipline King (Epic, 20 coins): Complete 100 mode sessions
• Homework Hero (Rare, 10 coins): Accumulate 10 hours in Homework Mode

Safe Browsing (4 badges)

• Safe Surfer (Common, 3 coins): Zero blocked attempts for 7 days
• Web Guardian (Rare, 10 coins): Zero blocked attempts for 30 days
• Internet Sage (Legendary, 25 coins): Zero blocked attempts for 100 days
• Scholar (Epic, 15 coins): 30 hours on educational sites

App Mix (3 badges)

• Edu Explorer (Common, 5 coins): 10 hours of educational app usage total
• Balanced User (Rare, 10 coins): Use 3+ app categories daily for 14 days
• App Master (Epic, 15 coins): 50 hours of educational app usage total

Location (3 badges)

• Homebody (Common, 5 coins): No geofence breaches for 14 days
• Trusted Traveler (Rare, 12 coins): No geofence breaches for 60 days
• Location Legend (Legendary, 25 coins): No geofence breaches for 180 days

Device Health (3 badges)

• Device Caretaker (Common, 5 coins): Healthy device for 14 days
• Tech Guardian (Rare, 12 coins): Healthy device for 60 days

Streak (5 badges)

• Streak Starter (Common, 3 coins): Reach a 7-day streak
• Streak Warrior (Rare, 10 coins): Reach a 30-day streak

• Streak Legend (Legendary, 50 coins): Reach a 365-day streak

• Rising Star (Common, 5 coins): Reach Level 5
• Explorer Elite (Rare, 10 coins): Reach Level 10
• Grandmaster (Legendary, 50 coins): Reach Level 25

How Badge Evaluation Works

Badges are evaluated automatically during the nightly end-of-day process. The badge evaluator checks each badge's condition against the child's cumulative data. When a badge condition is met for the first time, the badge is awarded and its bonus coins are added to the child's balance.
